Thanksgiving Burgers
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup cranberry sauce
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup baby spinach leaves
- 1/4 cup fried onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Ground turkey, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl
Make 4 burger patties out of it
Warm the grill up to a medium-high level
The turkey patties should be cooked for five to six minutes on each side on the grill
For the last minute of cooking, put a slice of Swiss cheese on top of each patty and close the grill lid
This will melt the cheese
On the grill, toast the buns for about one minute, until they get a little brown
Spread cranberry sauce on the bottom bun of each burger
Then, put a turkey patty with melted cheese on top of the sauce
Finally, add baby spinach leaves and fried onions
Add the other half of the bun on top, and if you need to, use a toothpick to hold it in place
