Nutella and Salted Caramel Double Chocolate Cookies
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup Nutella
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup salted caramel sauce
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt
In a separate large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth
Add the Nutella, egg, and vanilla extract to the large bowl and mix until well combined
Gradually add the dry ingredients from the medium bowl into the large bowl, mixing until a dough forms
Fold in the semisweet chocolate chips and salted caramel sauce
Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set and the centers are slightly soft
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely
